Special Day at Trinity

August 01, 2023

New Pastor Ordination Day

Sunday, July 30th, 2023, marked a very special day here at Trinity. For the first time in over 100 years, we were privileged and blessed to ordain and install our new associate pastor, Isaac Pappenfuss.

The day was marked with a special service at 4 pm. The sermon was preached by Pastor Samuel Pappenfuss, the brother of our new pastor. Area pastors participated in the Laying on of Hands, and the choir sang “All the Praise of a Lifetime.”

The service was followed by a dinner in the church basement, where guests and congregation members enjoyed a meal other.

Meet Our New Pastor and His Family

Pastor Pappenfuss and his family joined our Trinity family yesterday, July 31st, 2023, during the ordination service.

Pastor Pappenfuss spent most of his youth growing up in Sebewaing, Michigan, and attended Michigan Lutheran Seminary and began at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary afterward.

He enjoys soccer, basketball, fishing, biking, woodworking, modifying kid cars, and cooking.

He and his wife, Monica, met at MLC and were married in 2016. She went to MLC for an Early Childhood degree. They are blessed with three boys with the latest born this summer.

Let's give them a warm Trinity welcome!!
