Sunday School at Trinity Lutheran Church
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” Luke 18:16
Sunday School is the opportunity for parents to bring their children to Trinity on Sunday mornings so they can continue to learn about the love Jesus has for them by learning Bible Stories.
Sunday School takes place on Sunday mornings after the morning worship service from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.
Each Sunday morning the children have the opportunity to learn Bible stories, do crafts and sing.
The classes are age appropriate. They are divided accordingly:
- 3 and 4 year olds
- Kindergarten
- 1st and 2nd Grades
- 3rd Grade
- 4th Grade
- 5th and 6th Grades
- 7th and 8th Grades
General Information
· Children must be three years of age by September 1st and toilet trained to enter Sunday School in September.
· Children must be three years of age by December 1st and toilet trained to enter Sunday School in January.
· Please contact the pastor to let him know if your child will be starting Sunday School.
· Health forms and emergency contact numbers need to be completed at the first class each year.
· Sunday School begins in September and runs through May.
· Families are strongly encouraged to attend.
Weekly Schedule
10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mornings. Drop off and pick up in the church basement.
Nursery – 4th Grade Schedule Example

10:45 – 11:15 Bible Lesson
11:15 – 11:30 Project/Worksheets/Activities
One Sunday of the month there will be devotion with Pastor in the sanctuary.
5th – 8th Grade Schedule Example
10:30 – 11:15 Bible Lesson, Worksheets
11:15 – 11:30 Music
One Sunday of the month there will be devotion with Pastor in the sanctuary.
Yearly Schedule
September – Sunday School begins (First Sunday after Labor Day)
October/November – Sunday School Mission Project
December – Christmas Service Rehearsals (3 Saturdays), Christmas Children’s Service
March/April – Children sing for the Palm Sunday Service
May – Sunday School ends (One week prior to Memorial Day weekend)
June – Sunday School/Church Picnic at Killarney Lake
* Children will sing at other church services during the year.
** No Sunday School Thanksgiving weekend, between Christmas and New Year’s or Easter weekend.
